Pamela Fusco


Pamela Fusco has accumulated more than 20 years of experience as an information security and risk management professional. Prior to her current role, Fusco served as the Chief Security Officer for Merck & Co., Inc., Digex Inc., and MCI Security Solutions; and was the Executive Vice President, Global Information Security, at Citigroup. In these positions, Fusco developed company security platforms with key methodologies and technologies and further designed, implemented and executed the Systems Security Operations, Architecture, Policy and Compliance departments and security strategies. Before that, Fusco served as the Security Lead for EDS, where she initiated firewall operations for a DoD network operations center. Prior to EDS, she was a Cryptologist supporting security events for government intelligence operations and SPECOPS (special operations). Fusco is certificated and accredited as a CISSP, CISM, CHS Level III, National Security Agency INFOSEC Assessment Methodology Auditor (AIM Auditor), and National Cryptologic School Adjunct Faculty Certified Instructor (NSA/CSS/NCS).
Sara Gates
CEO and Founder of CDG Software, Inc.

Sara Gates is currently the CEO and Founder of CDG Software, Inc. in Austin Texas, an early stage technology start-up. Prior to her current role, Sara Gates was the Vice-President of Identity Management at Sun Microsystems. In this role Sara was responsible for driving the vision, strategy and growth of Sun's identity business, which was one of the fastest growing divisions at Sun. Under her leadership, Sun became recognized as a key leader in the identity management market. Sara came to Sun through the acquisition of Waveset Technologies, one of the early entrants in the identity management market. Prior to Sun/Waveset, Sara held marketing and strategy positions at Microsoft and Deloitte. She has a BBA from the University of Texas at Austin and an MBA from Vanderbilt, where she is the President of the Board of Directors.
Jim Reavis
President, Reavis Consulting Group, LLC; Editor, Risk Bloggers website

Jim Reavis has worked in the information security industry for many years as an entrepreneur, writer, speaker, technologist and business strategist. He has served as an international board member of the ISSA, the world’s largest not-for-profit association of information security professionals and formerly served as the association’s Executive Director. Reavis was a co-founder of the Alliance for Enterprise Security Risk Management, a partnership between the ISSA, ISACA and ASIS, formed to address the enterprise risk issues associated with the convergence of logical and traditional security. Prior to that, Reavis founded SecurityPortal in 1998 and has been an advisor on the launch of many industry ventures. He is widely quoted in the press and has worked with hundreds of corporations on their information security strategy and technology roadmap. Reavis was also formerly Chief Marketing Officer for VIGILANTe, a European security software company. Reavis began his career as the MIS Manager for InterWest Bank, now part of Wells Fargo. He received a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/ Computer Science from Western Washington University.
Robert K. West
Founder and CEO, Echelon One, LLC

Robert West is responsible for creating and executing Echelon One’s corporate strategy. He has more than 22 years of experience in information security, physical security, awareness, strategic planning, governance, organizational change, relationship management, computer network design, implementation and management. West is a frequent speaker on information security, and a member of the Cincinnati ISSA chapter board of directors, the Executive Security Action Forum, the United Way’s Toqueville Society, and the Information Systems Audit and Control Association. He has also served on RSA Security’s Customer Advisory Council, and the ISS Customer Advisory Council. Previously, West was Chief Information Security Officer at Fifth Third Bank where he was responsible for the enterprise information security strategy. Prior to that, West worked for Bank One where he held several key leadership roles, including Information Security Officer for Bank One’s Retail Group. Before that West served as a manager with Ernst & Young’s Information Security Services practice, and as a senior systems officer with Citicorp International. He earned a Master’s degree in Management Information Systems from North Central College, and a Bachelor’s degree in German from Michigan State University.
