As announced last month, new customer Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan (Teachers’), one of the largest pension plans in Canada, has selected Securent’s Entitlement Management Solution (EMS) to serve as its entitlement management platform. The Teachers’ pension plan is an independent corporation that administers pensions for more than 271,000 active and retired teachers, and is responsible for investing assets totaling $106 billion (CAD). Following a rigorous evaluation process, Teachers’ pension plan selected Securent EMS due to Securent’s proven breadth of functionality, ease of use and integration, small footprint, performance and scalability, product extensibility, and support for open industry standards including XACML. To gain the necessary level of control over their application environment, Teachers’ pension plan is deploying Securent EMS across dozens of business-critical components that power its Member Services portfolio.

Late last month, the Info Security Products Guide, a Silicon Valley Communications publication and a leading publication on security-related products and technologies, named Securent’s Entitlement Management Solution as the winner of three 2007 Global Excellence Customer Trust Awards.
